Celebrate Band Books Week
I don't understand the controversy, but apparently, these books are dangerous.
Banned books?

LOL... and classic Gilda! Happy Monday!
I dunno, they look pretty subversive to me. Especially that guy with the chicken on his shoulder. Never trust a guy with a chicken on his shoulder.
Who says they're dangerous?
Hahahaha...... I read the title and guessed it would be funny like this. ;)
Rediculous isn't it!
perhaps its the association with marching and censorship...won't stop me! i march in jello every wednesday night just to show 'em.
Very funny!
Did you know they "band" Twilight? I'm not sure I disagree with that decision. Hehe
But seriously, it is quite silly. However, we do celebrate Banned Books Week at the library. "Dare to read!" Last year, we had the dictionary up there. I can't remember why they banned that, but I was flabbergasted.
Oh sure... it starts with the impressionable readers picking up unassuming banjo. But before you know it, they've developed a taste for the life style and are forming into rock bands. Next thing... it's on to drugs. And sex. And not necessarily in that order.
And then one day there's news someone's choked to death on vomit after a night of depravity.
...
Makes me sick just thinking about it.
