Lafayette Cemetery Number 1
If it's time for @saintvi's haunted challenge, then it must be time for more photos from Lafayette Cemetery Number 1.
In a city built largely below sea level, the dead must find their rest above ground and it is said, they do not rest easily.

Cool... in a creepy way!
Wow all those high standing graves.... so cool!
Cemeteries in Louisiana are so beautiful and unique looking.
I love cemeteries. There's a feel to them, it's difficult to describe but if you've hung out in any you know what I mean. One day I hope to visit some in Louisiana, and see New Orleans. I hear it's an amazingly beautiful place.
Somehow that third shot is particularly eerie. But there's also something awesome about cemeteries! Nice shots!
I enjoy cemeteris but... How sad are broken markers...
@lupus_lady - Sad, yes. But I also sense a certain grace in the shards that remain.
Cool photos! The cemeteries in Louisiana always intrigue me! I've gotten to visit there and loved the city of New Orleans!

I love reading headstones and looking at the statues!
Thanks for sharing your cool, creepy photos!
