I am not a political blogger but that doesn't mean I'm not political. In my youth, I volunteered in the office of Representative Allard Lowenstein. Perhaps you don't remember Allard Lowenstein. More's the pity. He was one of the original architects of the dump Johnson movement. He was a good man, in a business where good men (and women) are hard to find. And I supported Pat Paulsen for President.
I was proud, in the last election, to vote for Barrack Obama. But I question sometimes whether President Obama is strong enough to stand up to the wackos on both sides of the political aisle. I find myself wondering whether it's time to elect our first female President.
