Some days my legs ask for the day off. And they asked nicely yesterday, so I set aside the snowshoes and the cross-country skis and I allowed the Snow Coach to do all the work, taking us up above the treeline on Mt. Washington. I won't be able to upload my photos for another few days, but as it happens, we were accompanied by a woman from the Mt. Washington Auto Road who was taking photos for the Auto Road's facebook page. So here's a photo from yesterday's adventure, courtesy of the Mt. Washington Auto Road. Go to the Mt. Washington Auto Road facebook page for the rest of the
album.

WOW! That is beautiful! I can't believe you set aside the snow shoes for a day :) That is unlike you!
Man, I miss mountains. My family visited Mt. Rainier in 1966, and I still remember it. The Cascades are such a beautiful area!
What an absolutely breath taking picture. Washington does have some beautiful scenery. My family once lived in Epharta. It has been many many years ago, but I do remember much snow and much greener.
breath taking!!
