@doahsdeer - I'm laughing my head off! Thanks for the memories....
I LOVE to swing dance! We try to go at least twice a month to a swing dance cafe in Denver where they have a real Big Band playing.. You get cooler every time I read you.
I can't watch this without remembering one of the highlights of the 70s: sitting with him two-on-a-bench at the Steinway an hour or so waiting for a show where I was second act. He was writing something new at the time, ink on staff paper. We got into a mock-fight: who could 'peck' more odd-ball notes into the other's rendition. Him with his pony tail, me neatly trimmed to shoulder-length. Laughing and silly as the antidote to stage-fright, mine at least. Sounds like name-dropping, I know, but from the Duke I got the model of 'write, think, create' around the clock, on the toilet, wherever. Who else can I credit it to? Thanks for this footage, Doah. I just bookmarked it.
Gotta love this song, this musician... I liked the cartoon, too. That was cute!

Do you remember when that commercial for saran wrap ripped off this song? "It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that cling".....

@jsolberg - That was a neat story. Thank you.
I love it, and paired with the comic it really made me laugh. Witty.
Love the comic!
